How can we help you with SharePoint?

"Training Only" Enterprise SP Option

I am simply learning SharePoint and need a SP site to work with. Hence, I have the low-cost plan for training, not for building a working site. The problem is I need the "enterprise" version of SP for my training, to have access to all of the tools/features. But I cannot afford $99 per month just to train.

Can you offer a "training site" only option (at low cost) with the enterprise version of SP?

Larry, I'm in the same situation you are/were in. Did you find a solution? Thanks. Jeff W.

You can set up a Virtual Machine and install a trial version of SharePoint enterprise and SQL that will give you full control and learn how to install and administer both SQL and SP. There is an book on this put out by Microsoft Press. This is how I learned SP

This would allow users to trial the features and probably upgrade when comfortable. I think it's a win-win.
